Discover/EBSCOhost folder problem - "Application Level Exception"
We've had reports of people getting "Application Level Exception" errors when trying to access their personal folders in DISCOVER or elsewhere in EBSCOhost.
EBSCO are working on a fix for this at the moment, and hope to have it sorted in the next week or two. The problem does not affect all accounts, and it does seem to be intermittent, so if you get this error, try again later.

Free webinar Using doctoral theses in your research: a guide to EThOS
The British Library is holding a free webinar on how their EThoS PhD theses service works.
EThOS is
the national database for PhD theses, managed by the British Library. It’s a
fantastic resource for researchers, with over 100,000 UK theses freely
available to download and use for your own research, and another 200,000
available to search and scan on demand.
Find out how to search for and download theses, and what to do
if a thesis isn’t available. If you’re a PhD student, find out what will happen
to your thesis once it’s completed. We’ll also explain how EThOS works with UK
universities to support the whole research cycle, making the theses more visible
and available for new researchers to use and build on.
Host: Sara Gould, Development Manager at the British Library,
who manages the EThOS service, and Melissa Byrd, who deals with marketing for
Higher Education.

Changes coming to KeyNote
KeyNote are making a few changes to their site this month:
- all products will now be accessed directly from the Key Note homepage, using one of the four tabs under the familiar headings of Market Reports, Company & People, List Builder and Benchmarking
- company & People Information will be merged within one tab and so will be searchable from one point
- we have tidied up the homepage to ensure that those links used more frequently have priority
