Here's what you've been searching for last month:

Tip: if you're searching for a database, like Scopus or Marketline, don't go via DISCOVER, use the Library Catalogue and do a title search - you'll find what you want much more quickly.

Dawsonera ebooks - problem downloading to iPhone/iPads

Dawsonera have reported a problem for users trying to download ebooks to Apple devices. Your options are to read online, use a pc, or follow the workaround below:

Workaround for iOS Download issue
1.    Download the ‘Mercury Web Browser’ from the App Store and install.

2.    On the download popup window, hold and press on the ‘For iPhone and iPad users click here’ link.

3.    A popup menu will appear with choice of options, click on the Download Link button.

The download of the eBook will then commence in the background.

5.    To view the downloaded file, click on the ‘three horizontal lines’ icon located on the bottom toolbar of the browser, which will then bring up a Menu (as shown below).

6.    Then select the ‘Files’ option as indicated above, which will open up a list of the downloaded files. Search for the eBook you have just downloaded and select it.

7.    Once selected the following screen will appear and you will need to select the icon – located in the top right hand corner as demonstrated below.

8.    This will then open up a list of apps to open the file with. Locate the Adobe Reader App and select that. The eBook will then open and be able to be read in Adobe Reader.
