 What are ICT doing?

Essential Security Patching on the Core Network.

 

When will this be?

Wednesday 31^st March 6:00pm – 8:00pm.

 

Who will this affect?

All staff and Students at Bedford Polhill

 

What will be affected?

Core Network at Polhill Bedford will be at risk for two hours with an estimate 5-minute service interruption.

All service - Such as Internet, Email, File access, Phones, and IT services.

 

Why are we doing this?

Securing our Core Network to lower the risk of Cyber-attacks. 

Login to library systems at risk 27/03/21

ICT will be doing essential maintenance on university systems on Saturday 27/03/21.

This will affect on-campus internet access for all University Campuses, and remote access to University services, including login to library resources. There may be multiple periods of downtime during the day.

SiD Online upgrade - 26/3/21

On 26 March we will be upgrading the software that sits behind SID online. SID online will be unavailable to all users from 8.30am until 5pm. If you have a query relating to library issues or login to your account, you can still contact us by email.

Emerald ejournals and ebooks - problem

 The Emerald platform is having problems this morning and you may not be able to access content. 

This may affect both ejournals and ebooks on with emerald.com in the URL.

We hope this will be back to normal soon.
