MYPrint Service Maintenance - Monday 14 September

 

Following the recent identification of a security vulnerability affecting some externally facing services within the MYPrint portal, we will be updating the system to the latest version, which includes the necessary security patch.   This maintenance will take place on Monday 14 September from 1:30pm to 2:30pm.   During this period, the MYPrint system will be unavailable. We expect all services to be fully restored by 2:30pm. If after this you still have any problems, please raise this via SID.

RefWorks changing to EndNote Fusion October 2026

In early October 2026, RefWorks will become EndNote Fusion.

When this happens, you will be automatically redirected to the new site, and all your existing accounts, references, projects, folders, attachments, tags, custom citation styles and sharing permissions will transfer automatically.

No action is required for existing RefWorks Citation Manager (RCM) users. The writing tools will work seamlessly without reinstallation or additional downloads.

The current bookmarklet will be renamed Save to EndNote Fusion and will remain available for users who prefer to continue to use it, but will no longer be available to new users. There will be a new browser extension instead.

Proquest Ebook Central - back to normal

Ebooks from Ebook Central seem to be back to normal following yesterday's issues.

We are currently having an issue accessing ebooks on the Proquest Ebook Central platform. We are urgently investigating this.

Downloading ebooks from ProQuest Ebook Central

ProQuest Ebook Central have made a change to the way you download ebooks from their site. 

(This only affects books from this provider, not other suppliers, and only refers to when you download the book to your own device, not to reading online.)
