RefWorks changing to Endnote Fusion on 6th October 2026

On 6th October 2026, RefWorks will be renamed EndNote Fusion.

When this happens, you will be automatically redirected to the new site, and all your existing accounts, references, projects, folders, attachments, tags, custom citation styles and sharing permissions will transfer automatically.

No action is required for existing RefWorks Citation Manager (RCM) users. The writing tools will work seamlessly without reinstallation or additional downloads.

The current bookmarklet will be renamed Save to EndNote Fusion and will remain available for users who prefer to continue to use it, but will no longer be available to new users. There will be a new browser extension instead.

Web of Science maintenance Sunday, April 10

WoS Maintenance – Sunday, April 10 - Web of Science, InCites, ResearcherID and EndNote Online.

Please be advised that Thomson Reuters will be performing systems maintenance on Sunday, April 10. The maintenance window is 13:00 to 16:00 BST. There may be intermittent outages to Web of Science™, InCites™, ResearcherID, or EndNote® Online throughout this time and it is expected that there will be two instances of downtime, each 15 minutes in length.

Thomson Reuters apologise to users for any disruption and inconvenience that may be due as a result of the required maintenance work.

Web of Science maintenance Sunday October 18th

Web of Science will be performing routine maintenance to their authentication system this Sunday 18th October 2015, from 1:00 PM, BST to 4:00 PM, BST.

There should be minimal interruption to users who are logged into Web of Science, InCites, ResearcherID, or EndNote Online during this time. The publisher, Thomson Reuters, apologise for any inconvenience due as a result.

Web of Science maintenance Sunday 31st May

Thomson Reuters have advised of the following maintenance:

• The maintenance window is 1:00PM - 16:00PM British Summer Time
