 We are currently having a problem with access to UK Press Online. Please bear with us while we try to get it fixed.

ProQuest Product maintenance downtime: Sunday 31st January 2021

ProQuest will be taking up to an eight-hour maintenance window beginning Sunday 31st January 2021 from 3am for 8 hours to upgrade infrastructure, enhance security, and maintain reliability on many ProQuest products. During this maintenance window, the following products will be temporarily unavailable:


Ebooks from Ebook Central - this includes any ebooks with http://ebookcentral.proquest.com in the URL

Databases on the ProQuest Platform - including British Nursing Database



Problems with Access Full Text links from DISCOVER and Full Text Finder links from other databases


There is currently a problem with some links to full text from DISCOVER and other databases. 




If you click the Access Full Text button in DISCOVER , or the Full Text Finder button in some other databases, you may see this screen:














This shouldn't be happening, and we are trying to get it fixed. In the meantime you can still get to the article you wanted, by choosing the Institutional Login option. You may then have to choose UK Higher Education and then University of Bedfordshire from a list. 



Then you should get a results screen like this with links to the full text:
