Ebooks and RefWorks - login problems continuing
We are still having problems with logging in to resources via the UK Access Management Federation. This particularly affects ebooks via Dawsonera and VLEbooks, RefWorks and Reading Lists.
We are waiting for a system upgrade which should happen before the end
of the week. In the meantime, we apologise for the difficulties logging
in and suggest that you keep trying, as the problem is intermittent.
Ebooks - getting your computer to read aloud to you
Adobe Reader has a 'Read Out Loud' feature which allows books to be read aloud by a computer once they have been downloaded. To use this simply hold the control, shift and Y keys down at the same time, or choose ‘Read out Loud’ from the View menu.

LinkSource problem fixed
We believe that the problem with LinkSource not opening correctly and giving a blank page is now fixed. If you do continue to have any problems, please let us know.
LinkSource problem
We are having problems with LinkSource, the service which redirects you from results in one database to the full text article in another. Instead of opening the LinkSource page, we're getting blank pages.
We think that the problem is something to do with the software we use to authenticate you as University of Bedfordshire students. We are looking for a solution, but in the meantime we suggest clearing your browser cookies and cache, and starting a fresh browser session. Alternatively, if you are on campus, delete the 0- and the .brum.beds.ac.uk from the address bar, until the address startes linksource.ebsco.com, and refresh. You should find the page loads correctly. In the last resort, you can use the library catalogue to find the journal title you want and browse through to the article that way.
