We've been warned of system maintenance to Web of Science services on Sunday, from 11am to 11.45, which may cause disruption and system outages. Endnote will also be affected.

Family Law Online - problem resolved

The problem with Family Law Online seems to have been solved, and both links are now working normally. Please let us know if you continue to have trouble.

Family law online

We are having problems accessing the Family law online database and the journals that sit within it. We are currently waiting for a solution from the publisher. In the meantime, you can still get through to the database if you follow these steps:
Click the Family law online (via UK Access Management Federation) link
Select University of Bedfordshire and log in with your usual username and password
If you see a security warning like this one




(or simliar if you are using a different browser), it's OK to click I Understand the Risks and clicking through until you get through to the database.

Web of Science - upgrade 19th-20th October

A Web of Science upgrade is due between 3pm Sunday 19th October and 3am Monday 20th October. We have been told that the database should still be available, but there is a chance of disruption.

EndNote should not be affected this time.

Library catalogue unavailable

The Library Catalogue is currently unavailable because of an unknown issue with the database. This is also affecting book issue and return, and logging in to digital library resources. We hope to have a solution soon - check Twitter for further updates.

Dawsonera ebooks update

We had lots problems with Dawsonera yesterday, and the site was closed completely for maintenance for a while during the night. It seems to be up and running again this morning, but please let us know if you have any problems.

Lawtel update

We have diagnosed the problem and now have off campus access to Lawtel again. However, due to an confusion with security certificates between UoB and Lawtel you will see an error message (or similar, depending on which browser you are using) advising you not to continue. It is quite safe in this instance to ignore the message and click Continue.
