Zetoc maintenance - Tuesday 2 December, 9.00am - 10.00 am, service at risk until 12.00 noon.

We've been warned that critical maintenance is required for the Zetoc database, this will take place beginning on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at 9:00am.

While it is expected that this may be completed in an hour, the Zetoc Service should be considered at risk until 12.

CBT Nuggets is back

Our CBT Nuggets account has now been restored. However, I do have to warn you that under the terms of our licence we are not allowed to download, copy or share any CBT Nuggets materials, just to view the training videos. They are monitoring our usage and if any of you do anything forbidden, we will be cut off and they will not let us make it available to any of you again.

Scopus - have been search issues, now resolved

Scopus have reported that  they had a number of problems yesterday:

in many instances, searches are returning incorrect record counts, incorrect document and citation counts, etc. despite the fact that the records themselves are in the index. Side effects include degraded h-index calculations, and author publication counts.

The problems have now been resolved, but if you were using Scopus yesterday, you may want to re-do your searches.

Unfortunately our Dawsonera ebooks are all unavailable at the moment.

If you find that you cannot access an ebook, please let us know, giving details of the book affected.
