Upgrade to Endnote Online 10 March 2015

For any Endnote users out there:

Please be advised that Thomson Reuters are releasing an update to Endnote Online on March 10 2015.

There will be no expected downtime or outage to Endnote Online as a result of the update with minimal impact to users. However, please note that because of the update to the user interface, users may be required to clear their cached browser data to ensure they are using the newest interface elements.

Wiley journals site maintenace Saturday 7th March from 10am

We've been warned of disruption to our Wiley e-journals on Saturday 7th March from 10am for up to 3 hours. This will affect journals with onlinelibrary.wiley.com in the URL. 

Emerald journals disruption today - update - UK Access Management Federation

In addition to the functions listed below, we've discovered that the UK Access Management Federation login option is also unavailable today.

We've been notified of disruption to Emerald journals today, lasting until 7pm.During this maintenance window, some functionality on Emerald Insight will be unavailable for up to 12 hours. Full text of articles will be available. The functionality affected, includes:
•         Search
•         Alert subscriptions
•         Adding publications as favourites and adding articles to Marked Lists
•         Any changes to 'My Account'
•         Registration
•         Mobile pairing
A notification message is visible on the website, however please be aware that the functionality will appear to be working until you click to action one of the above functions. At this point you will receive an on-site notification that the functionality is temporarily unavailable.

No access to European Journal of Marketing

We are having a problem with online access to European Journal of Marketing. This has been reported, and we hope to have access restored soon.

ProQuest maintenance scheduled Sunday 1st March

Our ProQuest databases and RefWorks will be offline for scheduled maintenance Sunday, March 1, 2015 at 03:00 AM for five (5) hours.

During this time, access to ProQuest products will not be available, and users will be re-directed to a webpage explaining the scheduled maintenance.

Problem opening pdfs from DISCOVER/EBSCO databases - fixed

There was a problem yesterday (Thursday) opening pdf files from DISCOVER and other EBSCO databases. This was due to a server failure at EBSCO and affected libraries worldwide. It has now been fixed, but if you do have any problems with DISCOVER or EBSCO databases, please let us know.
