What
are we doing?
ICT are carrying out essential work
on our central storage system which does not require shut down of our
systems. We do not anticipate any unplanned downtime; however the
following systems should be regarded as being at risk during this period.
What might be
affected? And when?
Email system: the afternoon of
Friday 25th November and all day Saturday 26th November.
Other ICT Services, including:
Finance Systems; Student Record Systems; Breo; S-Drive; U-Drive; Local-Drives,
University Internet; Printing etc. : the afternoon of Friday 25th
November and all day Saturday 26th November.
(Please
note: ICT do not anticipate downtime on Sunday 27th November;
however, these systems should be considered at risk).

Why are we doing
this?
As part of a rolling programme of
maintenance and support, we are carrying out an essential upgrade to all
storage systems.
