Please be aware that there are active phishing campaigns
specifically targeting students and staff at UK Universities.
Phishing to students includes emails asking that they
“update their account information.”
We would ask all students and staff to be aware of this
threat. Here are some useful tips to avoid getting caught out:-
• Be wary of
emails from unknown senders, especially those asking you to confirm information
• Never
click links or open attachments from emails that you are not expecting
• Most
importantly – if in doubt, get it checked out!
